Shelbie Kovach

Shelbie Kovach has come a long way from making a lifestyle out of what she loves to do. Starting dance lessons at just 2 & 1/2 years old in Chandler, AZ, she has taken part in many local studios competitively dancing all around Arizona and has participated in countless dance conventions/competitions across the country. She was a member of  the Arizona State University Spirit Squad for all four years while getting her college degree in Communications & Family/Human Development. While on the ASU Spirit Squad and cheering for all D1 football and basketball games, she also was a member of an even smaller competitive dance team: The Competition Team. This selected group traveled to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL every year to compete for the National Title at UDA. Finishing her senior year at Nationals in 2nd place, the Arizona State University Competition Team was then invited back to Walt Disney World to compete, but this time representing The United States of America.  She ended her college career as a World Champion in the category of Jazz at the ICU World Championship Competition. After college she became a professional dancer in Los Angeles for the LA Lakers for two seasons of the NBA, 2013-2015. NFL made its’ way back to Los Angeles, and she also danced as a Captain for the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders for their first year back in LA, 2016-2017. Aside from making a career out of what she loves with dance, she continues to model professionally as well. Shelbie is now full-time teaching and sharing her constructive discipline, dance professionalism & creative choreography to dancers aspiring to be the best dancer they can be.
